hey friends! take my advice.. if u work.. dont drink...
just now was at an indian wedding at some hotel. the newly-weds were christian indians... so it was rather a modern wedding.. compared to those traditional tamil wedding at those void decks.. so anyway.. had a partner with me for standby during the show.. so most of the time he was doing the sound console... so for me.. of coz sat one corner and... learn! fine.. got slack a bit lah... then the client said it was ok to drink beer.. so throughout the whole dinner.. i drank 4 big cups of tiger~ think this was the first time i was drinking so much.. and i didn know i can hold so much liqour~ not bad sia~ but then when the show was over. then we were packing up tt time.. i was pushing those portable boxes/containers (whatever u all might prefer to call them as) around.. and i swear i was walking zig-zag ways.. and at times i would feel that i'm about to fall backwards while walking... but then luckily its not the severe type.. as in at least i am still able to work and will also not walk so zig-zag-ly till i end up in the back alley's longkang... but anyway.. after about 30mins. i managed to sober up and had enough balance and strength to lift the containers/boxes up the lorry with my partner.. if not it would have been doom for my partner sia~
so anyway... managed to distress tonight.. juz tt the only sad thing was that halfway through the show.. my boss smsed my partner.. saying that tml have some chinese singing audition at dunnoe which shopping centre.. and we need to run the show.. which lasts from 2-6++.. hope by the time pack up finish.. i wun be late for my appointment... haix~ what luck~
and i'm working overnite during the new year eve!!! argh!!!!
